THE AREA 
Orgiva is the main market town of Las Alpujarras. Two hours from Malaga airport, 1 hour from Granada, 40 minutes from the coast and 1 and a half hours from the ski resort of Sierra Nevada. There is something for everyone. Granada is home to the Alhambra palace, one of the most visited sites in the world. This beautiful Moorish palace sits above the exciting, buzzy town of Granada, where the old town and the caves, bars and cafes and shops provides a great day out. The costa tropical is lined with endless lovely beaches and coves and delicious fish restaurants dot the line of the beautiful meditarranean seashore. Malaga has a lovely old town and is now home to the recently opened Picasso museum. The Alpujarra mountain range above and below us has endless walking possibilities and tiny, white villages span the mountain range. Birdwatching, horse riding, walking, cycling, painting, paragliding, skiing……… We have various leaflets and books in the cottage to help you make the most of your holiday and the area. |
